Fall 2006 marked the beginning of your architectural education at Cal Poly as well as my time as Department Head. These past five years have unfolded far too fast and my colleagues and I are very proud of all of your achievements. Your time here was marked by a rigorous education that I trust has prepared you to tackle the variety of leadership roles that you will be called upon to fill during your career.

Traditions are born out of exceptional events, thus the Department’s wish to initiate a social celebrating this year’s graduating students. We invite you and your family to a pre-graduation celebration on Friday, June 10th, 2011 between 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the Berg Gallery. Please RSVP with the number of guests to architecture@calpoly.edu no later than by Thursday, June 6th, 2011.

Light appetizers and beverages will be provided, and I sincerely hope that you will join your colleagues and faculty members to mark this very special moment in your life. We have enjoyed having you on campus and want to wish you the best.
